Upcoming Itinerary (stories about our past days in the Kalahari coming soon!)

The following is our proposed itinerary for June 21st-July 8th taking us from Upington, SA to Francistown, Botswana.

Please note that this is a tentative plan, as many of the "towns" that we list as destinations may not exist or may only be very informal settlements (a gas station would be lucky). Regarding segments in which we have listed 2 days together, there is no settlement of any sort along the way and we will have to improvise our sleeping arrangements.

We will update our blog again the next time we reach an area with internet, which we expect to be Vryburg so stay tuned! We have many great stories to share that we have not yet had the time to write! The Kalahari was interesting, to say the least...

6/21: Upington to farm(?) (75k)

6/22: farm(?) to Olifanthoek (85k)

6/23: Olinfanthoek to Kuruman (97k)

6/24: Kuruman to Lykso (71k)

6/25: Lykso to Vryburg (69k)

6/26: Vryburg to Stella (69k)

6/27-6/28: Stella to Mafikeng (119k)

6/29: Mafikeng to Hildave (58k) *Border crossing into Botswana!

6/30: Hildave to Gaborone (88k)

7/3-7/4: Gaborone to Dibete (117k)

7/5: Dibete to Mahalapye (87k)

7/6: Mahalapye to Palapye (72k)

7/7: Palapye to Serule (72k)

7/8: Serule to Francistown (84k)
